R.pm site thoughts

This is geared towards finding a place for technical meetings. Panera Willow Lawn seems our social meeting home and it's great for that. But its not such a good idea for technical meetings.

Eliminated Options

• Genworth - nobody has time to deal with it
• ACT - schedule is not predictable
• Richmond Public Library sites - requires non-profit status to book
• Science Museum of Virginia

Confirmed possibilities

Henrico County Libraries

• Requires that a person with a Henrico County Library card set it up
• Online room reservation possible (after initial arrangement?)
• Convenient hours of operation
• Downside: can't arrange room much over a month in advance

Dumbarton Library

• Large and small meeting rooms, both busy
• On Staples Mill a block from Glenside Drive
• One good Vietnamese restaurant a block away

Tuckahoe Library

• On Starling, just off Parham between Three Chopt and Regency Mall
• Very close to the RMLUG meeting site
• Multiple new meeting rooms, less busy
• Many good eateries in area, notably Topeka's

Unexplored possibilities

• El Toro Loco at Staples Mill & Broad (suggested by JayCampbell^?)
